Mini Tabs with CSS
More helpful (and attractive) examples from SimpleBits.com. Calling the CSS mini tabs "the UN-tab, tab", is probably the best way to describe them. The comments in the related thread indicate that some browser inconsistencies exist, but I had no problems in the handful of browsers I checked it in (including IE5/IE5.5/Win and Opera 7.21/Win -- and IE/5.2/Mac it works great -- the more I think about it, this is a great example of padding and margins too).
